What is Autism

 Autism is a group of neurodevelopmental conditions linked to differences in brain development and functioning (WHO). It is a condition with spectrum of symptoms. Usually, identification should do before 4years/ World Health Organization indicated that as of 2021, about 1 in 127 people worldwide were estimated to have autism.  The core features of the spectrum can categorize as 
  • Social communication Challenges
  • Restricted or repetitive behaviors
Key signs of social communication challenges including, 
  • Limited or unusual use of eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, or body language.
  • Difficulty interpreting others’ nonverbal signals like tone of voice or posture
  • May struggle to start, maintain, or appropriately end conversations.
  • Preference for solitary activities or interactions structured around specific interests
  • May not grasp sarcasm, jokes, or figurative language
  • Tendency to talk at length about personal interests without noticing the listener’s cues
  • Difficulty making friends or sustaining peer connections.
